About Sandscan

With over 45 years of combined experience, Sandscan has earned its fine reputation through dedication to quality and service. It was this same reputation that earned Sandscan one of their first commercial assignments at the renowned offices of Christies Auction House, located on Darling Street, South Yarra.

One of the largest commercial projects undertaken by Sandscan was the MYER Melbourne cafeteria located on level 3 of the Lonsdale Street store. The 1400-sqm space was completed in only 3 weeks back in 1995 and the finish on the floor has to this day withstood the heavy traffic that passes over the timber floor each day.

Whilst Sandscan has the capacity to complete such commercial projects, a considerable percentage of our work is derived from the domestic market. To Sandscan every floor is undertaken with the same high level of service whether it is a grand mansion or humble flat.

You can have confidence in the knowledge that the manager of Sandscan, Peter Taylor, will be the person to assess and quote your floor and the person who does the job. Your floors will be taken care of by either Peter or his father Joe, usually both, and one other staff member. The size of this operation allows personal service and crucially tight quality control management! We do not use sub-contractors.
